I embarrassingly mix it up very often only to fix it later rip... it seems to be a common mistake on my part ahaha

You don't necessarily need to fix the tag manually, since the alias already would do that. Additionally, this may be specially problematic if:

I) The debate lead to the conclusion that the course of action you imagined is wrong, but you already "fixed" it.

II) People get the wrong idea that such alias is useless or not so necessary (wich is the case).

This seems to be a common mistake on my part... need to watch myself on that
