No I didn't because they aren't. They're in their own group, Ailuridae. They're a part of the musteloids, but this is not the same as the mustelid family. Similarly procyonids and skunks are also not mustelids.

Think of musteloidea like feliformia; yes, they're all a superfamily related to mustelids and felines respectively, but having them imply as such would be way too broad of a tag. Bears and seals are in the caniformia family, but that doesn't make them in any way similar enough visually for this site to be tagged in the same way, making the tag way too broad to be any useful if they were tagged as canines

Technically humans are primates, but this site also has to rely on practically over technicality sometimes so they are not tagged as such

I'm a tired eyed idiot. I read 'Musteloidea' and my brain filled in all the wrong information.

Regardless, they still are not bears. Not that that has anything to do with anything here.
