I noticed the trending tags section has tags while looking at post tabs but when on a favorites section there are no trending tags. I'm not sure if there is a way to like edit what trending tags appear or not? Is there?

Trending tags are generated by the system, and are based off the most popular tags used within the last 24 hours, as such, there is no way to edit the trending tags.

So trending tags is a weird thing. If you have searched for nothing it shows the most popular tags on all posts for a short period of time. If you search for something it finds the most popular posts on tags within your search. Since favorites are not tags, it doesn't know how to collect the posts, and so there are no trending tags.

I see...i like this site and feel it's one of the best ones out there but i wonder about small stuff like that so i have to ask to make sure im not missing out one something

Yeah, our site is unfortunately on an old engine. There's a lot of things that are difficult or impossible to implement without creating a brand new engine, which would be missing everything already here.

A lot of feature requests got responded to with such statements. Of course, I'm pretty bad at actually citing these statements so feel free to correct me if I'm remembering wrong.
