I am using a Samsung galaxy s1. Many animations require me to download a plugin (flash player) to view them. What flash player do I need to download so I can view the animations?

Flash doesn't have support for android platforms.
There's some old apps that will run flash, but they're not very reliable, and I have yet to find one that's good.

Not entirely their fault.
They weren't able to turn it into a profitable platform for flash, so they don't want to pay the developers and other staff needed to make it compatible.
Just another business paying attention to supply and demand, they did try at least, which is why some of the older apps out there exist.
They just don't support it any more.

I'd suggest photon browser, it has flash but like, it's not going to top tier stuff.

True. I'm just happy that the Flash games and movies that I actually care about are old enough to be fully supported by the latest Linux standalone player, for whenever I finally get around to primarily using Linux.

This is what you do, get firefox mobile and flash for android. Yes, it does exist, it's just that Adobe won't update it anymore. You can download the flash player here. Scroll down until you see the android versions and pick the most recent one. Install it and enable plugins in firefox. That's it although most phones are not strong enough to handle complex flash animations, especially the ones from JasonFX.
