I have an issue that feels similar to that of and old post https://e621.net/forum/show/226714. I didn't want to necro post.

Bug overview description.
Favorite counter on user profile shows 20 favorites, but no means to reveal these has been successful (i.e. to un-favorite)... I'm stuck with a permanent 20-faves counter but I don't have any favorites.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
The "My Profile" page

What is the expected behavior?
User should be able to clear all favorites to recude fav-count to 0

What actual behavior is given instead?
User is stuck with 20 invisible/inaccessible favs that cannot be removed by any means. Tried doing the fav:user and fav:user:deleted as mentioned by a user in the above mentioned threat, but to no avail.

Time of incident (if applicable).

Can you reproduce the bug every time?
Yes. The counter does not go away. Attempted to login from a new machine and browser. Same issue; so it's account-bound.

What steps did you take to replicate this bug?
Click "My Account" > "My profile"
The "My profile" page shows "Favorites: 20"
Clicking on them returns the page: "No posts matched your search."
Editing the filter to include [...]:deleted returns the same empty page.

Errors or other messages returned (if any).
fav:user = "No posts matched your search."

Most but not all of them are due to deleted posts. You can remove them by using this search: fav:VladDaPootin status:any.

I don't know what accounts for the remaining six.

Hey, thanks! Almost there... ;-] That got rid of all but 6 yeah. I'll keep lurking in this thread for more replies.

If I had to guess, those remaining 6 were destroyed, meaning there is now no record of them ever existing on the site.

Or it's just a weird unknown bug. I don't poke around e621's insides.

My guess is that you have no favorites, but that the counter attached to your account is out of sync. By the age of your account, that seems likely, and I've seen people with -1 favorites before.

There is nothing right now, but I can look at making something that would allow for that.
