That's what you're intended to do. Making unnecessary combinations for tags muddies up the system, what happens if "Bowsette" suddenly gets crossgendered. Character tags operate on TWYK, so it would have been entirely within the realm of possibility for Bowsette to further get crossgendered.

I know, I checked the history before this post. Wiki pages can be made, and edited, by anyone; history pages exists on each wiki entry so we can know who did what.

I hid this, but fuck it, I'll post it anyways. Wouldn't it make more sense to tag this as it's own separate thing since it's more of a meme, than just a crossgender bowser? We do tag memes here. Hell, we have a zero_suit_fox tag. I think it should be aliased to Bowsette, since that's what the internet has deemed her. There are almost 80 images under the tag when I wrote this. That's more than enough for it's own tag.

Ehh, but zero_suit_fox was more of like, actually a character created by a single person, and the design was pretty constant throughout all art, where as with this the look varies wildly between different artists, hair color being the most obvious difference.

Not the same thing...this is a specific fan character and thus deserves a specific name...although I think that name should be "Bowsette" and not "Koopahime". This is the comic that originated the character.

It's literally just fox in the zero suit. And no the design is not consistent, as it appears in various genders.
