Some images, less than a megabyte large, load so slow they feel like you're in the 90's on a modem. I have no idea why people aren't talking about this. :P

Are there any plans to upgrade the server... speeds, or whatever? I'd donate a few bucks towards that goal.

I have also experienced slowdowns in viewing posts from time to time, which becomes clear when I'm checking post on e6 and it's loading for several seconds and then checking something like same image on tumblr source and it loads instantly.

However I have simply brushed this off as being in europe and/or high visitor hours or similar, because it's never to the point of being dial up modem slow or if it is, then it's more likely that my cat is pushing my 4G router so signal is weak.

I have extremely slow data since im currently using the 30 dollar limited internet plan on my phone. So when I'm trying to view comics I stockpiled for this day for entertainment it take about 2-5 minutes to load one page if it more then 2500x2500 pixels.

So I disable JavaScript, use data saver in chrome, never delete caches And use the reduce size sample locates in account setting which is a game of chance on how big it would be

Here's what you do (if you're a nerd like me):

1. Ditch Windows (Though if you're a PC gamer, I'd suggest dual-booting the following OS, or using a Virtual Machine)
2. Download Ubuntu and flash it onto a removable drive like a flash drive or external hard drive
3. Install Ubuntu onto your computer's hard drive/SSD.
4. Once you're done bashing your face into the keyboard, open a term-

1. Download the source zip from here: https://github.com/Youboontoo/faux-boxer-downloader-win/releases/tag/v1.0.0
2. Extract the folder somewhere
3. Right click in the folder with the download-windows.bat file in it while holding shift, then click "Open Command Prompt Here"
4. Type download-windows.bat, then press enter

It'll ask you for up to 6 tags to search e621 for. Enter them, separated by spaces. If you see "Open Powershell window here" instead of a command prompt, click it, then when the blue window opens, type cmd before you type the above command. Windows is dumb and decided to force their new Powershell terminal down our throats (like systematic telemetry and apps like Candy Crush Saga).

Yes, that's still a lot of work, but on the bright side, you won't have to waste time in the future accessing it, will you?
