Topic: I have a problem with Twitter Media Downloader.

Posted under Off Topic

Twitter Media Downloader (a web extensions) doesn't seem to like downloading older twitter images and videos, especially those with a huge number of it, like closer to 10,000?

When this extensions was downloading things, for some reason, the error comes with this:

"Stop: API error detected (status 429: Too Many Request)".

Tried to download again day after day using the ID from the last part of the previous download and again refused to download even though it doesn't display an error above. Tried to use this program again on different website and the same thing happened.

This is infuriating, I just want to download something I like using this extensions since it's the best by far. Any ideas?

maybe you should contact the person who made this extension or bring this up on whatever site you got the extension from?

Do like any regular user would, stop using clearly broken extension and use something else and maybe even better?

I'm personally using userscript to get images and jdownloader2 for video files (gifs are also videos).

I don't know. Twitter Media Downloader is fine to me. The pictures are alright and so does the videos. It's just that, sometimes, this error pops up and you can't even download using ID from an old image.

I just hate right click/drag and save images from Twitter one by one.
