A couple of hours ago I added a parent to a few posts and now a tag alias, for a tag that I did not touch, is shown as my edit: https://e621.net/post_tag_history?post_id=&date_start=&date_end=&user_name=MyNameIsOver20charac&source=&tags=&reason=&description=
Can someone explain this?

Tag aliases are simply credited to the person making the next edit after the alias has been approved.
This is simply working as intended, or done out of necessity so tag aliases changes do show up at all.
