Why is there an apostophe in there? Does the cat belong to Pallas? Or is that their actual name...

Forgive my skepticism, but I wouldn't believe in any official species name that includes bad syntax. Since anyone can edit a wiki, there could have been someone who didn't know to not apostrophe and add a second S, instead leaving the apostrophe hanging, but that's why I asked if that was their actual name or not.

You can change the contents of a wiki page but not the title, at least not without much difficulty, and wrong titles, especially grammatically incorrect ones, don't last very long. Furthermore the page summary explains the name.
