Agreed:

The african_wild_dog is pretty distinctive.

There are some other 'legit' wild dogs like the indian wild dog (or Dhole), I"ve heard Dingos caleld 'wild dogs' before... technically, a Pariah dog is wild. (A pariah dog is basically... what happens when a group of free-range domestic dogs develop, as a group, a genetic identity that classifies them as a unique breed that could be wiped out by breeding with 'other' animals. -- this makes them different than a 'generic mutt' ... that said, for taggign purposes? we're not doing genetic analysis.

we're doing good if we can tell a coyote from a dingo from a yellow lab around here :P
