Why is there a different number of forum threads on each page of the forums?
Is this just me or has this been happening since who knows when?
There's like 26 threads on the first page, drops to 7 on the second page, goes to 30 on the third page, 27 on the fourth page, and I stopped counting after that because I have better shit to do.
Wouldn't it make more sense to have like 30 a page and it just bumps stuff along as it happens, or is this some sort of error from deleted threads and stickied threads?

Deleted topics. They're still there, even when we can't see them.

So I'm not the only one.

It started yesterday here. The first page suddenly had like seven or eight threads, and today it's seemingly back to normal but now page two is tiny.

Certain it's a glitch.

Hidden threads

Okay, but was this "a thing" before? Cause I can't remember noticing before yesterday and apparently, Moon Moon didn't either.

It was probably my fault. Yesterday I created a LOT of implication threads, hid them all and merged the together in forum #134318 as advised in forum #134316

Hah, that's probably it then. Makes sense. That was a shitload of threads indeed.

Yeah, tony explained it to me way back since I asked the same thing about tickets once, the server's software can't automatically fill up pages if threads are hidden, it doesn't send the hidden threads out but it doesn't fill it up either, making pages appear smaller.

And this probably never happened before since we rarely have to hide more than one or two threads at a time.

That's cool, as long as it wasn't the illuminati we should be fine.
