Implicating yu-gi-oh → konami
Link to implication
Reason:
The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG is owned by Konami. Hence, it should imply the parent company.

Konami is the name of the company
Yu-Gi-Oh is the name of the series.
Everything created by Konami besides just Yu-Gi-Oh will be under that tag. I dont want to see everything made by Konami if just looking for just Yu-Gi-Oh pictures.
Just like Warner Brothers is a company and Looney Tunes is a series created by Warner brothers.

what? this is an implication. if post is tagged as yu-gi-oh, it would get tagged as konami too.

I thought he meant Yu-Gi-Oh pretty much shouldnt be a tag. Unless I misunderstood. I was trying to point, anything made by Konami would be labeled as such.

he is saying that since yu-gi-oh belongs to konami, yu-gi-oh posts should get konami tag too

..no? pear implies to fruit. this means that if you tag pear on post, fruit will be automatically added as well. this does NOT mean that if post is tagged as fruit, it will automatically be tagged as pear as well.
op is trying to suggest that yu-gi-oh should imply to konami. not other way around.

You're thinking of an alias, which means "Replace this tag with that tag." Imply means "This tag will automatically add this tag to the post too," but won't effect searches for the tag.

Konami had nothing to do with the Yu-Gi-Oh manga or anime.

Mostly correct:
Yugioh manga was part of Shueisha's "Weekly Shōnen Jump" Magazine, illustrated by Kazuki Takahashi. In the US, Viz published this comic
One animation was done by Toei.
One animation was done by NAS and Studio Gallop.
Funimation and 4Kids helped with US distribution, until they sold assets to Konami, through 4K Media
The Trading card game was developed and published by Konami. And distributed outside of Asia by Upper Deck
That's a lot of company names. which is the right one to tag...? how about none of 'em?
