Reason:

it's a race from ffxiv

Is there any reason to imply them to a specific final fantasy, and not to the series as a whole? The only point to keep games separate are same-name characters, such as Mog and Cid, but we can just tack on suffixes to them, such as cid_(ff7) and cid_(ff8).

I'm no expert... but, to my understanding, the final fantasy franchise is a series of generally unconnected or standalone games. They generally do not share characters or settings, but do share some thematic elements like game mechanics, plot thematics, and character names.

So... it would seem to me that it would be best to use game-specific tags, as someone who's played Final Fantasy XIV might not want results from Final fantasy III. Likewise, someone who wants Final fantasy VII results might not want results from everything else.

While one could look for specific characters, that doesn't really help when you're wanting 'any character from this game'

Especially as Final fantasy contains 15 main series games, 21 series related games, meta series, etc, 4 Final fantasy tactics games, numerous spin offs (3 'final fantasy legend", like 20 chocobo games, 7 crystal chronicle games, 4 crystal defenders, literally 30 others...) ...

Final_fantasy is, in its won way, as broad and wide as a tag as "nintendo" is
