Probably haha, like sure they could just search for a tag in their favorites, but at that point you're basically searching the site all over again lmao

Might be their way of marking "I've seen this image". Would be useful for finding new stuff. Just exclude your favorites, and you'll only ever see stuff you haven't seen before.

That said, that purpose would be better served by using a private set.

Possibly bots. Bots already drive over half of all internet traffic.

Porn addiction and force of habit. Source: me. Granted, I've been here 6 years and don't quite have quite 90+k yet. I treat the favorite button as an upvote button, and the upvote button as a button I'm obligated to press almost every time I press the favorite button.
