- Somewhat related to the last one, background/foreground species/character tags of sorts? Mayhaps? I'm tired of looking up avian and they're all aesthetic birds in the background.

- Could we not include -tags as one of the 6 allowed tags, or allow 6 of each? Or not including blacklisted images in the total image count per page? With nearly 1.5 million posts, its becoming increasingly difficult to find old favorites (I dont really use fav or like much, that's a me issue but it would make navigation much easier for all of us regardless.) - I still see OCs not tagged with their source material (I.e MLP OCs not tagged as MLP) if anyone notices please fix, I know I will. While some of my reasoning may seem selfish, I'm sure others feel similarly for different reasons. My only aim is to make navigation easier for us all. While we have hands-down the best and most precise booru-based tagging and searching system on the web, there's always room for improvement. Welp, back to toucheling myself, peace tf out.

Ambiguous gender, got it

- no, you are not required to see character's genitals to use other gender tags than ambiguous gender (see: ~male ~female ~intersex rating:s. character's body shape, secondary sexual characteristics and facial features count too)

- disembodied penis is classified as male because all visible evidence points towards character being male

- images containing female character getting dicked with disembodied penis is NOT solo. its duo/group and solo_focus.

@Eggplant I don't disagree with your first point, I think I was just peeved writing that one and got carried away.

Point #2, I still don't see why disembodied penis should be tagged as male.

Point #3, I still see a bunch of disembodied penis posts tagged as solo, I fix 'em when I feel like it but they keep coming up.

Point 4, I concede that one.

Point #5, Foreground/background character tags tho. Worth pondering.

I'm honestly mostly complaining that there's hundreds of mis-tagged posts under these circumstances, since people are lazy and/or don't care to do so adequately. Too bad there will always be shit slipping through the cracks.

And the "more tags" proposal is still up there, really hope we could get more, or not have -tags count toward the 6 because there's a lot more posts on here than way back when this site was a 'lil baby.

Wow, this should be some kind of public service announcement.
I never would have found that even though I've looked for background character tags multiple times.

Searches for arthropod are especially bad, since they show up so often in the background and are tagged the same as the primary focus characters.

The group/duo/focus tagging with ambient critters also seems random at best.

Yeah, those tags are so common that they'll keep getting mistagged occasionally no matter what. There's not much that can be done about that, since it's usually just some newbie tagging those wrong for a post or two, before they learn how to do it properly.

And then there's some posts where it's nearly impossible to tell if it's a penis or a dildo. Such as post #1353857. Not quite sure how to tag those.
