And they think we are gross.

Yes.
Absolutely.
All the time.

Some I love. Some I absolutely despise. Almost all are just plain weird.
Wanted to post one that just flared up today but the crossovers thread is closed...

Besides some suicidal thoughts? Having kids and a wife, but then I remember how much freetime and money I have XD

I fantasize about being a successful human being, and then I realize that will always be a fantasy.

If you have an idea for a story or picture and it wont go away, write it down. That way your brain doesn't have to feel like it needs to hold on to it.

Sometimes I get this really unrealistic fantasy that's all sorts of embarrassing wherein we have a world in which people are kind and accepting and where we actually are able to address major issues that occur without constant bickering. A world where people's motives for participating in society are primarily about their own positive desire to contribute in a meaningful way rather than the negative work-to-the-bone-or-die-in-misery way the world works now.

Doesn't last long, and then I usually go back to my much more realistic interests, like magical transformations and dragons and stuff.

That's often to the benefit of this concept. It takes effort and forces you to focus on the concept for a period of time. The final quality of the work is entirely irrelevant. I frequently write garbage quality scenes for the purpose of clearing my head of an idea.

Sitting down and discussing the idea with somebody who finds an interest in it and will ask questions is also beneficial towards clearing focus loops like this.

No matter how bad you are at drawing and writing, someone on FA is worse.

They had way more style than today's "fashion" - if I look at photos of my grandpa I sometimes think that I should get some of those suits, too

When it happens and I get stuck w a new idea. Usually I have it drawn out to get rid of it and thats how I move on.

Do tell do tell.

If it's a sexual fantasy it's usually just a couple days to a week and then I'm over it.

But I fantasize about a better life literally constantly.

Try years. I’ll get one fantasy stuck in my head and I’ll keep playing with it, growing it, and the like before I go to bed. It’s relaxing and keeps me from overthinking what went “wrong” in my day.
