I'd imagine scat, vore and gore are probably pretty high ranking. Gay and my_little_pony I'd guess are up there. Then there'd be a bunch of individual artists...

I don't blacklist anything. Sometimes a little WTF can liven up your day!

It would be neat to see a compiled list of blacklists to see how many people have blacklisted something. (Build up a percentage of what parts of the population like/dislike what)

I can tolerate gore and lots of the weird shit I find from time to time, but I blacklisted lenexwants because there it's nothing that it's not gore, so I took it like waste of time.

I blacklisted smegma. It doesn't come up often, but for some reason it turns my stomach in a picture. And chris_chan because it always felt like an unwelcome surprise in every way. And a bunch of specific pictures that for some reason or another I had a never want to see that again for as long as I live reaction to. But my blacklist is short because I don't get bothered over most things. I just keep going and look past them.

not that it comes up often on e6 anymore, but cub/child stuff is at the top of my blacklist (well, not REALLY at the top, but I think you get my meaning)

The site won't return MLP posts in your search results at all if you add "-mlp" or "-my_little_pony" to your search terms.

Blacklisting hides images that would have normally been shown in your search results. The "-" operator in front of a tag tells the site to not return those search results to begin with, so there's nothing to hide.

Oh yes, well sorry, I meant search as looking in main index, I actually got an account because I'm that lazy :P, and the first day I used blacklist, I got the 3 empty pages lol.

No problem, we just have a lot of users that seem to not know about search options like the "-" option, so I try to tell people about it whenever I can.

"-" is quite useful once people get used to it. Used for most of my searches. Half the time to filter out ponies and half the time for other things. The system works pretty well.

Now if only the amount of terms wasn't limited :P

Seconding this. Even with Priv having two more tags than members, I still have to get creative sometimes and/or use a combination of search terms + creative blacklist use to get what I'm looking for. On a site with as many tags as we have, only being able to search 6 or 8 of them at a time can be a little limiting. Especially if you're using the "~" and want to include several options in addition to something else...

Aren't they limited to avoid crashing the database with searches that use too many terms?

Nothing really gets to me enough to blacklist, but I have vore, diaper and scat blacklisted just because I know I can't masturbate to these three things. I imagine they'd be pretty popular.
Everything else I just deal with, or use "-"
