Reason:
Proboscideans are an order of mammals. They contain the living Elephants, as well as their extinct relatives such as the Mammoth. We've been needing a mammal tag that encompasses this order of animals for ages, not only for convenience's sake in regards to tags for species that are very closely related, but also the tag allows for better search/filter of these similar animals, which is pretty perfect for a tag. Also its existence would make mammoths finally tag as mammals, which they aren't implied as.
HOWEVER, to fit with other tag standards, changing proboscidean to proboscid instead is also an option, in which case have proboscid imply mammal instead.
