Topic: Should I tag multicolored_[something] with individual colors?

Posted under General

Hey! Happy new year!

So I was wondering if is wrong or not to tag the individual colors of the multicolored tags. Examples:

  • 1. Example:

There's a fox with multicolored_tail, should I tag the individual colors too? White_tail and orange_tail.

  • 2. Example:

There's multicolored_hair and multicolored_tail in this image. (I already tagged the individual colors in this one, if it's wrong I'll correct the tags).

  • 3. Example:

Multicolored_penis, should I tag black_penis + pink_penis?

So... That's it, hope you guys can help me.

P.S: I dunno if I could ask it in Tag/Wiki projects and QUESTIONS, I didn't see anyone asking questions there. If i could, I'm really sorry for asking in general.

For hair, fur, scale, et al. colors, at least, we tag the individual colors as well as that specifies which colors the multicolored things are. After all, "multicolored" can mean anything from two colors to a rainbow of colors. If it's got it, tag it.

Hmm, I see. Thanks for the help Clawstripe! But I didn't understand very well what you mean with "et al. colors". Do you mind explaining to me?

Sorry about that. The term et al. is a short version of the Latin et alii and is just a fancy way of saying "and so on". In this case, hair, fur, scales, and whatever other colored things that might get tagged.

Don't worry, I just never heard that word before (the closest word to that term I've heard is "etc"), I should've searched (sorry!).

Anyway, thanks for the help. ^^

That's okay. There's a first time encountering anything, and now you know so you can confuse other people too. :p

Anyway, thanks for the help. ^^

You're welcome. :)
