Topic: Pr0nz download question

Posted under Off Topic

Imagine you are on the posts page, like so @15s, what would be a natural and intuitive way for you to download images?

How do you normally download furries to your computer?

I don’t save images I just use the favourite function lol. But if I had to I’d just click an image I like, right-click and save image. Then rinse and repeat until I’ve saved how much I can be bothered to save :P

Surely there is a simpler way than clicking 2*x times you can think off?

Just search the forum for "downloader" and pick one of the many threads that offers a tool that suits your needs.

I don't need the tool, I need an inspiration/idea.

Honestly, rather than yet-another-downloader, the extension I'd be interested in would automatically upscale images in the web client to a desired size, or at least to a clean multiple of its original. And while there's a handful of common scaling algorithms that would be useful to make available, it would be nice to have a neural-network one to choose from as well.

Not sure if that's actually possible yet. It's just that there's already some several thousands of auto-downloaders in general, hundreds specifically for boorus, and I'm pretty sure we're up to dozens targeting e621 in particular. So another one just isn't interesting to me.

It's not, it's just one of the additional features. I mentioned e6 because the interface is similar.

So here https://streamable.com/btg47, I asked a question because I need help finding a way for easy, low effort, simple... way for downloading multiple images at once. Single images I'm fine with ( them being at two clicks)

I use Imagus to view the full res without having to open the post then open it in a new tab if I like it.
Then when I'm ready, I use the Save Tabbed Images extension to download all of the images and close them all once done. Easy peasy.

Only downside is that it does not work for Pixiv images though due to their access restrictions.

You either get a plugin/script or you click the image and then right click save as.
