I'm responding to this in hopes that doing so resurrects this thread, for as long as this thread exists, it prevents an identical suggestion from being made and "clogs the pipes".
As of this writing, there are 10 images tagged tf8. I will be removing the tag from these posts, so here is a list of said posts for reference/documentation:

Update: here's what I've done:
- removed the tf8 tag from the 10 listed pictures
- reverted the tag type to general
- added a tag wiki (tf8) pointing out that the tag is a duplicate tag, and pointing users to the correct tag
Said tag wiki also mentions this suggestion, as well as the fact that the tag is not aliased.
