they are not really pony/bat hybrids. they are the show's equivalent of vampires. actually i think that implying it to chiropteran would also be bad idea, i think that it should rather be implied to vampire since they are essentially a type of vampire that just feeds on fruit.

Fair enough; I was incredibly iffy on the bat_pony front, mainly just suggesting it to see others' thoughts on it, but it might be best not to imply it to it at all. Would be best if it had a friendship_is_magic implication, however, as it still does not have one.
