Brothers and brother is not the same.
When I search for brothers I expect two or more males.

Is that towards me, or the implication I'm opposing?

Sounds like it was to the alias you're suggesting.

well, I am against an implication majorly. I'm also against the either or for brothers and brother and would suggest an alias instead.

If their intention is to create a tag to rival brother_and_sister , then why not brother_and_brother and sister_and_sister, as so it does not get mistagged when people use plural words to tag. There has been aliases where plural words were preferred over singular, and someone even decided to use hedgehogs, even making them a species!, instead of hedgehog.

The tag could possibly have a better name, but +1 for the implication.

+1 implication. brothers just means more than one brother but I think the distinction is worth keeping.

brothers + incest is roughly equivalent to brother_and_brother.

brother and sister only means a pair of the two, not incest between them. That is why I suggest brother and brother and sister and sister, it is a tag with a better name.

It is also uniform with how the site handles brother_and_sister. Why bother conforming with a new tag format if we already have one that works?

Necroing this thread because I would also like this implication.

As it stands in practice, brothers is the tag used for brother/brother incest, and so is sisters for sister/sister incest. A potential use case for implicating these two plurals to their singular counterparts is searching for brother/brother and brother/sister incest; you could simply search "incest brother" and save a tag instead of using "incest ~brothers ~brother_and_sister". The same works for brother/sister and sister/sister: "incest sister" instead of "incest ~brother_and_sister ~sisters".

Though if I'm going to be honest, I think it would be prudent to have separate tags specifying active incest between two family members vs two family members just happening to be in the same picture, whether there's sex between them/in the picture or not.
