It seems to me that we have general tags for various realms of interaction, such as vaginal, anal, and oral, but we don't have anything relating to stuff involving the penis.

I think we ought to have a penile tag for any sort of activity involving the penis.

Right now there's no way to search for images which may include a penis but which don't involve interaction with said penis. Or to search only for images where the penis is being involved.

I'm not quite sure how this has been overlooked for so long, but it occurred to me when I was attempting to perform some searches and found the available options lacking.

Uh, no they don't? The vaginal, anal, and oral tags refer to any sort of sexual activity involving that particular bodypart. None of them require penetration, which, mind you, is why we have entirely separate vaginal_penetration and anal_penetration tags.

If, as you claim, vaginal only refers to penetration, why would we have a separate vaginal_penetration tag? Furthermore, acts which are not necessarily penetrative imply vaginal, such as vaginal_masturbation and cunnilingus.

The wiki also makes it clear that tags refer to any sort of activity, not just penetrative activity. Hence why I think that there should be a penile tag which follows their usage - a general tag which encompasses any sort of sexual activity involving a penis.

I legitimately didn't know what you were seeking when I wrote that down.

Actually, the idea sounds kind of nice, I don't see why not, beyond having to actually go around and tag the damn thing. Genuinely seems to me like a hole in that family of tags. However, certain tag combinations would achieve the same thing, which probably influences the merit of the idea, as well.

I think a lot of posts could be dealt with via implications from tags like handjob, penile_masturbation, fellatio and docking.

We don't have any sort of tags for penis-being-used-as-a-penetrative-implement (effectively, penis-in-vagina, penis-in-anus, penis-in-whatever-else) sex for some reason, which means that some of this would need to be done by hand. As long as we're talking about this, is there any particular reason we don't have those tags either? If we were going back and adding a "penile" tag to such posts, seems like as good a time as any to implement those as well.

As for other tag combinations achieving the same thing... I don't think that's true. At least, I can't think of any combination of tags that would work. If we had some sort of tag for penetration with a penis, we could encompass most posts with a search like this:

~docking ~fellatio ~penile_masturbation ~handjob ~penis_penetrating

But in addition to taking up five search terms, that still misses out on any "odd" sex activities out there.

Should I make a tag implication request so that this doesn't get lost, or should I keep bumping this for a little bit to see if anyone else has any other thoughts?

I like the idea, and penile seems like a good name for it.

I wouldn't be opposed to that, it'd definitely make some things easier to find.

I think you got most of them but I went through a lot of more obscure tags and found some other potentials:

penis_milking
vibrator_on_penis
auto_penis_lick (though this one should probably imply via implying penile_masturbation, which it currently doesn't.
