Topic: spoiler tags don't work on iOS

Posted under General

I've come across this problem too. I have no idea if there's an easy fix though.

Well, spoiler tags also don't work on symbian phones, like mine!

I just see it in source mode by quoting it.

Hello? Yes, this is dog.

Doesn't show up by tapping on them?

Now I know what to do if I want to make the lives of all iOS users worse.

Not on iOS. Your only option is to copy it and paste it somewhere you can read it.

Or click on "Reply."

Weird... isn't apple at the edge of technology and it can't do simple old html hovering effects? kek

Heh, even IE does!

I could probably download something to solve this, but I'd have to jailbreak my phone.

I don't think so. I mean, I'm not familiar with iOS but there should be a setting... or just getting a different browser (if that's even possible, of course)

It just doesn't work on the phone, I believe. That's due to the fact that every time you touch the screen it counts as a click and not a drag across.
Happens on my android phone as well, the only way to see it is to copy it and paste it elsewhere, or highlight it.

Opera Mobile on Android makes it visible, you tap once and the spoiler gets visible, you tap something else and it gets spoilered again. There are other spoiler options where you have to mark the text, but even that is quickly done.
