Topic: Tag Implication: intestines -> guts

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Approved!

Would someone with, perhaps, a better appreciation of gore, like to find some other tags that should also imply guts

Also, do these seem reasonable?

intestines implies organs
guts implies organs

On the other hand...

Do we need both guts and organs? guts seems to mostly be digestive-tract, but organs includes everything... by the wiki, anyway, which does not seem to be "professionally" written. :)

Perhaps guts and organs should be aliased to something like "internal_organs"?

I was thinking the same! Organs and guts do seem really redundant...
and those implications definitely make sense.

Though, I think that entrails should be kept since it refers mainly to organs outside of the body

Oof, entrails too?

Hm. the tag "entrails" doesn't obviously say "outside of the body" to me...

Plus, there is the disembowelment tag, which typically refers to having your organs outside of the body.

Disembowlment also has some associated aliases and implications:

Aliases: evisceration, disemboweling, disembowel, disemboweled
Implies: gore

...Guts has 714 posts.
...Entrails has 64
...organs has 150.

...I think my current thoughts are:

entrails is tidied up: we made sure that every entrails post has 'guts' and 'disembowlment' tagged as appropriate: -disembowelment entrails and -guts entrails

We unify the important-inside-parts under a single tag: I am leaning towards "internal_organ" as that covers everything from brains, to lungs, to ovaries, etc.
Current inside-stuff tags: entrails, guts, organs, organ and internal_organs. All of these will alias to the 'inside stuff' tag.

( organ seems like a good target for clean up and disambiguation, since there is instrument called an organ also. (of about 40 pictures, about 25% of them seem to be a music instrument. are they organs? I don't know.) )

Disembowlment implies important-inside-parts... since, basically, if there is a disembowlment, the inside stuff is visible, yeah?

intestines, heart_(organ), liver, kidney, lung, pancreas, stomach, uterus and basically all of the 'inside stuff' implies important-inside-parts

Also, plurals and singles are unified -- lung/lungs, kidney/kidneys. Yay.

......anyoen see any issues with that? better ideas? :D

I think you should go for it! "Internal_organ" would definitely tidy stuff up

If no one else objects, I'l lget on that.. however:

I *would* like someone to go through entrails like I mentioned, as well as organ.

I can do it myself, but gore honestly makes me a little ill-feeling... So, it'd nice if someone else could do that. :)

If not, I'll get to it in a few days :c

Organs

organ and organs are two different tags apparently

Internal_organ

combine entrails, guts, organs, organ and internal_organs into internal_organ

Disembowelment

disembowelment mainly refers to organs being outside of a body rather than complete destruction of the body, so posts with this tag should be tidied up (if need be) and the wiki should explicitly state this ((DONE))

  • Add internal_organ as an implication
  • Blood should not be an implication because if you look here that isn't always the case
  • Alias gutting to disembowelment

I'll start on the organ problem and the entrails for now but you can tell me if you want anything else done :)

I saw you beat me to organ_(musical_instrument) ;) Made it a lot easier to clean up further:
Most were pipe_organs and there was one piano.
Few left in organ_(musical_instrument)

Flash files that I can't read on mobile, might be really easy (don't have a computer 'til monday)

Pretty ambiguous, but definitly not pianos, what with the double key rows

Pinkie playing the pipe organ (canonical scene), but with the pipes edited out..?
