+1, though butt_on_glass may be better to fit with the format of other butt_* tags and the on_glass tag (unless folks prefer keeping the tag as ass_on_glass).

I'm not sure about these.
All the other tags in the group are against_*, such as against_wall. I'd prefer switching the alias back to against_glass instead of on_glass, and aliasing *_on_glass tags to their *_against_glass counterparts.

(Tangential, but there's a lot of redundancy between against_window and on_glass. Not sure how to solve that.)

Bumping for further discussion - I thought this stuff had been dealt with ages ago. I don't mind the difference between against_glass or on_glass, I'd just like to see it all aliased together.

I think it's better to use "butt" over "ass", butt sees more use in tags.
