I am legitimately confused as to why this picture won't let the rape tag be removed, even though there's no active rape going on. Did one of the tags that're still on it recently get an implication added, that's keeping the rape tag present?

after_rape implies rape
It was discussed here: https://e621.net/forum/show/270845
It should PROBABLY be unimplicated but what can you do

So, that's a "yes," then. Honestly, that seems like a counter-intuitive change, to me. I mean, the idea for tags was supposed to be that you only tag things currently present in the image, so people won't get results they're not looking for, wasn't it?

Oh, it went threw :L neato

No, seriously, I can assure you from personal experience that there are DEFINITELY people out there to whom the distinction matters, in terms of what they're looking for. People who, when they're looking for rape pics, tend not to be interested in images where the rape is already over, and no new rape is occurring.

Well shit, apologies, was an accidental implication approval on my end. Fixing ASAP
edit: Fixed. Should be separate tags now and not imply one another
Apologies; I've been cleaning up implications and alias en masse so that one must've accidentally been approved

Ah, okay, that makes a lot more sense.
