Topic: More Japanese Furry/Kemono artists active on Twitter than Pixiv?

Posted under Off Topic

Hello there, i am back after a long inactive from this site for causing the troubles for DNP rules. For awhile, i happend to have noticed a lot of Kemono artists are getting more active on Twtiter and post more of the art frequent that Pixiv.

Also, a lot of Kemono aritsts are ditching Pixiv in favor of Twitter.

Can we make sure fill the list of many kemono artists using Twitter there, since Twitter has some major sources having number of Kemono works being posted here.

Also, a lot of sources lacks the link of twitter posts, because they still keep posting the artists work on pixiv in an form of archive like this: まとめ

Here are some example of Japanese Furry/Kemono artists being on noticeably more active on Twitter than Pixiv:

https://twitter.com/kishibe_
https://twitter.com/Dokkaku
https://twitter.com/debu_nezu
https://twitter.com/melosoleaf

https://twitter.com/havemoon
https://twitter.com/kurage_setouchi

https://twitter.com/youki029
https://twitter.com/ChiparTrash
https://twitter.com/mayoi89g
https://twitter.com/youjomodoki
https://twitter.com/nuko0923
https://twitter.com/kazuhiro9

and more to come.

I know one issues is that they keep resample and compressed into JPEG, but even if these kemono artists getting more active on Twitter than Pixiv, we should have really use it for sources post here than Pixiv since a number of Japanese furry artist using Pixiv is declining and they get fed up over the repost on e621 and other booru sites (Danbooru, Gelbooru, etc) and not listening to the non-Japanese/Westerners about their thought on reposts.

I have happend to noticed almost all of the Japanese furry/kemono artists have moved away from Pixiv to Twitter and have almost no uploaded their works on Pixiv and are uploading more of their works on Twitter right now.

I need for this site to be improved and encourage users to add more of the Japanese furry artworks from twitter since they are more active on that site than Pixiv.

This is an help and advice for e621 to need to know. Since many of the e621 do not even upload and do not sources its works from twitter.

That's why e621 users have ignored these Japanese furry/kemono artists about moving to Twitter to upload their artworks there, because they we're fed off over their report on this site and other booru sites like Danbooru and Gelbooru, these two sites followed the same steps to upload their works on Twitter while e621, they completely ignored it and they thought that have abandoned it and/or simply quit it, but they actually moved to Twitter, hence why they haven't uploaded their works on Pixiv at all. That's all i know so far.

So it's not relevant to "us" as page, but only to the users that actually like the kemono style, gotcha.

Nah, that's fine. But i don't even use this site anymore, i am just here to disscuss about Japaense furry/kemono artists moving themselves to Pixiv.

I don't even wanted to discuss about this DNP rules anymore, since i don't even use e621 anymore. I am now using Gelbooru to post stuff here.

Here is my account:
https://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=account&s=profile&id=229644

Anywany, i've seen other booru-sites like danbooru and gelbooru began posting their artworks from twitter, since a lot of Japanese artists have abandoned their Pixiv site and moved to Twitter for awhile. E621 hasn't caught about Japanese artists moving to Twitter and almost thought that they are all dead, but they aren't at all.

All my posts i put them on Gelbooru is taken from Twitter, since i began posting their furry/kemono works on Twitter where they are much more active than Pixiv right now.

Here are all of my their twitter accounts that i am following right now:
https://twitter.com/XXKomaruXX

and i hope you noticed all of my retweet are lot of kemono artists you may recognize them from their Pixiv days.

I just have returned to this site to witness on how much of users do not upload their Japaense furry/kemono artists works on Twitter and it lacks a number of sources of it.

No, i made this writing statement wrong i was actually saying this:

Its just that many Japanese furry/Kemono artists are getting more active on Twitter and they upload more artworks there than Pixiv.

OKay, thank you. We will try to pay more attention to Kemono artists on twitter, and do what we can to ensure that people know that Pixiv artists might have moved, thank you.

When you say Japanese artists are ditching Pixiv for Twitter, does that mean they are no longer fleeing Twitter for Pawoo (a Pixiv-controlled Mastodon instance with Twitter-like user interface)?

https://www.pixivision.net/en/a/2408

Can't artists use this simultaneous posting option?

https://www.pixiv.net/info.php?id=4606&lang=en

I predict the artists will be back on Pixiv and/or Pawoo eventually because Twitter will only become less welcoming to them as the years drag on.

thats a thing, i post more here than pixiv (i am not japanese but i post there as well)
as same on twitter, just there is a massive difference

Twitter : anyone who follows you can retweet and their followers can see the tweet and get a like or another retweet

pixiv : is hold on my popularity which is real hard if you or arent active, or your post arent liked or seen a lot, also you need to see a feed itself and there is a lot more artist than twitter
overall pixiv is an Artist website, is hard to find audience there that is not another artist (or just a hollow account only made to like / fav posts)

T's downside is the quality and being lost in a wall of updates from other followed people
plus twitter rekts their users blocking people randomly making or people mad at artists by it.

P's downside, overall your post is shown quickly in a feed or recent posts, but thats all the time it went into the main feed

kudos to twitter when its still allowed porn into it
kudos to pixiv bcuz you can post an entire comic and "light novels"

better remain on a place where por is allowed since day 1 tho.

Another problem with Twitter is the likelihood you'll end up a target of some hate mob (who go so far as to send death threats and images of real life gore) reaching into the hundreds, because you drew something that they view as "problematic"

If most or all of the stuff you draw and post is through twitter, such an act can be incredibly devastating.

They used to leave kemono artists alone and only target western ones, but it seems that more people are gravitating towards targeting kemono artists. Which is why Baraag has become so popular as an alternative to Twitter.

damn , right!

twitter hate mobs and npc's… i didnt remember there was a big issue the cuz of "fanart" too
basically you cant post totally free some fanart or even some parts you see as canon…

even big japanese artist has to delete their accounts due making just what they do.

i think the very way kemono artist are usging twitter is mostly cuz they need more ways to spread their works,
but is a place full of gunpowder, who knows when it can ignite.
