Topic: An erroneous url tag locked onto a post

When tagging this post I tried to remove the long tag that is simply the deviant art page already listed in the source, but was unable to due to the tag being tag locked.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone with the tools could remove the tag (unless it's being kept for some reason), and thank you in advance.

Something like that you could report for tagging abuse I do believe

I'm not really a fan of reporting for first time / rare things, especially when a dmail could be sent.

My thought is that even if someone mis-tags they might not have a clue they're doing it, in which case a polite dmail letting them know would be better, at least in my eyes. Then save the report button for if they ignore the polite dmail.

With the "Locked Tags" field being next to the source field, it's more likely to be accidental, and since it was DiceLovesBeingBlown that added the locked tag, it'd probably have been better just to dmail them instead..

(Apologies, Versperus, if you meant it more as a joke, I wasn't quite sure..)

Fixed. My apologies, as pup said, the reason this happened was I entered the source into the tag lock section, which is right above the source field. A simple mistake on my end

Thank ya for fixing it, and sorry if it would've been better if I had sent a dmail instead. I wasn't sure which would be preferred.

A dmail would have been ideal but no worries! Glad to help fix things up
