I was looking to tag one of my characters but using character:violet just aliases to the character being invalid color. Is there a workaround for this? I'd love to be able to see all the stuff about that character in the same place.

character:violet_(ronnie92) or character:violet_(whatever)

For specific character tags, tag the character as character:violet_(owner) where in place of 'owner' you put the character's creator.

is not part of a tag, that just changes the existing tag. As such, general:violet_tail and character:violet_tail are literally the same tag, and you're just changing the tag type when you do that. That's why the ability to change existing tags in that way was removed from generic members.
