From time to time somebody posts a new thread just to ask somebody else to find them a specific picture, artist or pool. These threads usually get resolved in a few posts and then they are left to die out.

I think is a good idea to create a post dedicated to picture, artist and comic search just like all the other stickies around here.

It would be great if somebody could make it sticky (unless you think is not a good idea).

Also it would be a good idea to have some standardized format:

In search for: Author, Image or Pool

Description:

I was just thinking that there needed to be a better way to request images n stuff. This seems like a good and simple solution

How about just sticky an image request thread at the top, kinda like the feature request.

I think that sounds like a good idea. Hopefully a mod will pick it up and implement it. I especially like the suggested format idea. At the very least it'd help to keep the sticky thread's posts semi-organized and easy to see what they're looking for.

I think it's a great idea. Whether an admin stickies this thread or creates a fresh one with the formatting idea you suggested. Either way it would be handy and a lot tidier to have something like this stickied. This type of query does come up on a fairly regular basis, but not often enough that it would stay visible on its own. Hence the reason why it would be better off as a sticky.

But at the very least, some kind of official feedback, (yay or nay), would be good.
