Newgrounds peeps are true OGs the real MVPs. Bless those people, especially Tom Fulp.

When everyone left for Tumblr and Shitter, Newgrounds kept its door open for us.

It's also so weird to see how everyone reacts to flash dying like it's gone forever. DOS is not used in computers anymore, but I can still play games made for DOS with my machine by the help of emulation. All that means is that instead of writing executables name in DOS, I'm simply opening the executable with emulator instead.

Also as browsers have transformed to be more multimedia centric, it wasn't too long ago when there was that project that you could play Diablo 2 in your browser.

Also I do have to say that Newgrounds Swivel is extremely amazing tool, so I do give them credit for making looking and handling flash files extremely easy task.

Did newgrounds really get that many refugees? Because I would've loved that, but instead everyone pretty much just moved to twitter and as such now we have more compressed artwork.

Newgrounds got a decent amount of people, but nowhere near as much as twitter. I can't stand how twitter ruins image quality, but the main purpose of that site is to get popular and have your stuff seen by as many people as possible, so quality takes a backseat since most artists just care about the social media reach.
