Blacklist blah blah, I know. I don't ever look at these kinds of posts, nor do I comment or complain on them (with exception of incorrect tagging) and this isn't a complaint thread.

I'm just pointing out I've noticed a recent increase in the amount of underage characters in content on this site in the forms of both furry and non-furry art (humans only), and quite a few of them are uploaded & favourited by accounts with jambled names such as 248930180, 3hcf7wouhf3, and etc. (not actual names, just examples.) I am concerned that there are potentially people flocking to this site to use as their own place as their sites get frequently shut down due to violating law of their state/country. It worries me e621 could come under the same scrutiny and face the same problems if I am correct and this trend continues to escalate.

Are you saying the government of the USA might shut down e621, or a non-government entity like Cloudflare?

No not at all, and I'm trying to avoid any kind of fearmongering out of this subject. I was more wondering if anyone else had noticed this trend lately. The way that it seems to have some form of organization (in that the posters and accounts favouriting these posts share random strings as their names) outside of the site's actual community. It has me personally a little concerned if there could be anything going on outside of e6 that could end badly.

edit: Upon rereading my original post from this morning I could have probably worded my concerns a bit better, because it does come off as fearmongering; sorry.

If you want to, you can still edit the text to fit what you are trying to say better.

For some reason in western societies, pornography and sexuality is almost taboo and should be hid behind extreme violence. Then when it comes down to portraying anything young, even in fantasy context, you are immidiately labeled as pedophile and have FBI behind your door.

So it wouldn't surprise me if users were creating alt accounts to be able to upload content without having to worry about witchhunts towards them (some have asked, this is fine btw as long as you aren't using the alt account for e.g. vote cheating and you don't have issues with your main account). Have also seen so many artists needing to nuke majority of their galleries because of them drawing underaged characters, even seen artists getting harrassed for drawing single image where character looks like 17.

As long as all everything uploaded in here is fantasy and drawings, I wouldn't worry too much.
