One of my uploads seems to be taking a longer time to be approved than others. Why would this be?

Because the janitors and administrators are busy people who have their own daily schedules, browsing patterns, and just over 2000 other posts to go through.

Mods/janitors/etc manually approve uploads by users lower than contributor rank. We are human and have lives, so sometimes approvals can be slow, especially when we are busy irl.

Yes, I understand, but there's one post that's almost two weeks old, but other more recent ones have been approved.

11 days is nothing, there is a month grace period for a reason.
