I tried using e621's Alias suggestion form,
but result was "Error: dirtypaws is already aliased to something".

(The alias that blocked me is dirtypaws_(artist) -> dirtypaws , with no associated forum post.)

Same artist. Their inkbunny was https://inkbunny.net/dirtypaws , but that now forwards to https://inkbunny.net/foxmusk which says "foxmusk / Previously known as dirtypaws."

They now write artist name of Foxmusk on their art, starting in February 2019

Yesterday i wandered across a foxmusk comic posted to e621, (with artist tag foxmusk https://e621.net/artist/show/38698 ) and checked Avoid Posting List and didn't see Foxmusk nor Dirtypaws in the list. So i posted another page from the comic (ie. uploaded to e621). But today I had another thought so i search tags for dirty*paws* and found (empty) artist tag dirtypaws with e621 wiki page that says "DNP."/"Not to be confused with dirty.paws",
but e621's Avoid Posting List still doesn't list either dirtypaws nor foxmusk.

Is foxmusk/dirtypaws DNP? (ie. is the dirtypaws wiki page correct OR is e621's Avoid Posting list correct?)

(FA username dirtypaws now writes artist name Foxmusk on their art,
which i alluded (implied?) above, but forgot to state.)

Of the deleted dirtypaws uploads (all deleted by takedown 5204): most of them were uploaded by foxmusk (foxmusk uploaded 33, plus two uploaded by others.)

But at the foxmusk comic page i uploaded (post #1996551 ), i noticed e621 username foxmusk replied with a positive comment (and not objecting to the upload).

So I decided to check out who has been uploading the foxmusk art to e621,
and username foxmusk has been uploading most of the foxmusk art (foxmusk uploaded 19 of the 21 uploads).

Apparently Foxmusk (aka Dirtypaws) is now ok with their art being at e621.
(Earliest foxmusk tag art uploaded Aug 7 (2019), which is after June 2019 forum #274480 ("[Announcement] Making our gender tags less vulgar") ... so maybe that's it)

EDiT: takedown created on same day as comment #2878590 (objecting to vulgar tag for gender), so "gender tags less vulgar" did probably get Foxmusk comfortable with e621 again.

I was DNP for a while, yeah. I really didn't enjoy some of the old gender tags since my character's an intersex male but i like the new terminology and also i like sharing my art so i came back.

Can an admin please alias dirtypaws to foxmusk?? (see first post in thread)

So with the combination of
1) foxmusk's reply above
2) dirtypaws not being listed in avoid_posting list
3) dirtypaws tag NOT aliasing to avoid_posting
etc.

I'm removing the "DNP" text from dirtypaws wiki.
