Topic: 11/18. What's it all about?

Posted under Art Talk

In the bara community, there seems to be an event where in the 18th of November, there are pictures of chubby men with big schlongs.

It's all I know, and I don't know the rest.

What's the name of that event, what's it all about, and what's the hidden symbolism of the 18th of November?

Those two are like mutually exclusive.

Remember, remember, the fifth of November, the Gunpowder treason and plot; I know of no reason why the Gunpowder treason should ever be forgot!

It's a kind of weird fourteen-dimensional wordplay thing.
18 is a cock and balls.
11 is 「いい」, "good".
18 + 11 is 29, 「にく」, "meat", or more figuratively, "fat".
When the two digits of 29 are added together, the result is 11, and when the two numbers are multiplied together, it's 18 instead.

So, what's the name in romaji?

Those contrived Japanese thematic dates are getting popular, aren't they? I don't recall hearing about them before last year.

With four writing systems if romaji counts, I like how Japanese deals with wordplay.

Related to the query I have, referring to post #1061102. The one with the red grafitti. What do the kanji characters mean?
