Im not sure why this is being suggested but I'll give a general gist, Gynomorph is female+shape, andromorph is male+shape, which is why the tags are the way they are right now. Its about the body shape.

You're confusing what this is about. The tag's for relationships between gynomorphs and andromorphs.

Yeah, this is just about sort order AFAICS (which we already apply to other tags of this type to ensure any a/b pairing exists only in a/b form and not in pointless reversed b/a form as well)

(also that voting system is cool, nice that we don't have to collectively post a pile of +1/-1's, but it doesn't seem to update the display until you refresh..

Allowing someone to retract their vote (in case of misclick etc) would be a nice addition)

You can do so by clicking the thumbs up/down beside your name in the vote list.

Most of these used to be in alphabetical order, but that got mixed up on the rename.
If this gets approved, also flip gynomorph/female and gynomorph/ambiguous.
