I get why this request was made but I'd really like to step away from the old dom=top and sub=bottom standard.

Ditto, I was in an arguement with a person on Sofurry who just couldn't understand that position does not equal domination/submission. Some people enjoy penetrating, some enjoy being penetrated, it has nothing to do with who is more masculine or more aggressive.
