How many votes, exactly, does it take for someone's comment to be downvoted and hidden?

Cause if it's just 1, that's just plain stupid... ought to be like 5-10 at least <_<;

It's just one. but char and tony and I were discussing maybe setting the default to anywhere between -2 to -4.

Then lower your threshold so you still see it.

Yes, we've talked about setting the default threshold to like -5 and also showing comment scores. I just haven't gotten around to implementing it yet.

My comment threshold is like, -25 or -30.
I like to see eeeeverything.

Mine is -2, that means at least two people agree that something is stupid.

...but I klick "show hidden comments" anyway before reading the comments so I never know what exactly people think is stupid.

You can upvote your own comments, rendering at least one downvote null
