So, I’ve noticed a few issues.

For starters, kitsune turns into “fox” when tagged. This should be removed and kitsune should be implicated with fox instead.
Kitsune should have the mythology tag, the asian_mythology tag, east_asian_mythology, and the japanese_mythology tag implicated to it.

(I posted 3 images of my artwork that has a 3tail in it, and I just checked one to find someone telling me to add mythology tags to my work. (Yes she’s a kitsune, but not one form mythology, but TWYS an all that) I tagged the image as “kitsune” expecting the system to do the heavy lifting, instead it changed it to fox and left out the myth tags.

fox_spirit is the tag you want instead. Kitsune was aliased to fox because it was frequently misused, to the point that it was useless.

Wait... what if kitsune was aliased to fox_spirit? There’s gotta be a way to fix this whole thing so the more used tag is swapped with the correct one? I mean twilight (no, not the pony) is a fox, with 3 tails, with magic, she can shapeshift into a human an a feral (and, yes, she started out as a 7 tail kitsune) but at this point she’s just a very special fox I made as a role-play character in Second Life. However, kitsune (fox spirits) are, to quote one of the SL region owners, over powered Demi-gods/goddesses. Twilight is powerful and I do love pushing my characters to the point the GM’s scream in panic, but she’s not Thor. Lol

I'm pretty sure the reason kitsune is aliased to fox is because "kitsune" literally just means fox. Foxes with multiple tails and spiritual powers have a different name.
