Garbage disposals - do you use them? Is it more effective to use? Because I've heard a lot about theese tools and now I'm going to choose one for myself.
Any advices are welcome.

Don't throw banana peels or bones into them. Turn the faucet on before you turn the disposal unit on, and leave the water running until after you turn the disposal off.
Ice cubes help sharpen the blades of the disposal.
Don't use it as a masturbatory aid.
I'm not kidding.
I hear they're great for extra driveway gravel!
....I am being informed NOT to advise people to put rocks of any sort in their garbage disposal. Right. Sorry about that.
In all honesty, I miss having one. Right useful thing. Super watery leftovers you cant quite put down a drain but would make your trash can a mess? Soups, stews, things like that? Garbage disposal!
