I can get behind this alias, but I also think it should get an implication to forehead_jewelry (currently on only one post) for generalized jewelry on the forehead, since forehead_gem is oriented towards gem by its name alone.

I wouldn't agree with that, most characters with forehead jewels/gems have them as part of their biology, like Espeons
