Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: whistle_(object) -> whistle

Posted under General

The tag alias #46439 whistle_(object) -> whistle_(disambiguation) has been rejected.

Reason: The tag "whistle" has a wiki set up describing it as an object, making "whistle_(object)" pointless. Requesting alias because it would be a pain to change the, as of writing this, 240 posts with it.

EDIT: The tag alias whistle_(object) -> whistle (forum #291660) has been rejected by @Millcore.

you can whistle with your fingers, or just your mouth as well making whistle_(object) very descript

That would be whistling. Though maybe a whistle_(disambiguation) would be better if it's easily confused.

basically what I was thinking, as I don't believe whistle alone should be a tag.

basically, how it would work if the staff conclude that whistle_(object) is a valid tag, is there would be a temp alias to move the content over than from there whistle would be disambiguated removing the pain of transfering 240 tagged items
