Most of those belong in sunbeam, some look like lasers (the nightclub posts, could make a new tag such as party_lasers for those), no idea what to do with the rest.

There's also crepuscular_rays, god_rays, and sun_rays. All separate, all overlap more or less. No idea if there's any actual difference, they're lumped into same article on wikipedia.

Sorry for the pretty late reply.

My idea was that this tag could function as a single general tag for all rays of light, including the sunbeam, crepuscular_rays, god_rays, and sun_rays tags (maybe laser could be included but I'm not sure). This would be useful to someone looking for posts with rays of light as it wouldn't require them to enter 4 or 5 tags to get all possible posts that contain light rays. Additionally, some of the tags listed might not be immediately obvious to use when searching for light rays in posts. 2 of these tags (sunbeam and sun_rays) seem to have the same definitions.

Even if this tag structure isn't used, approving this request would alias two tags separated only by how many rays there are. From what I've seen in posts with these tags, the tags aren't used with this discretion. It would also bring the tags in line with other aliases, such as dildos > dildo and dragons > dragon.
