Content warning: I mention abuse briefly

Pornhub’s new rule about every user needing to verify age to upload content means that a lot of furry porn uploads are gone since a lot of artists and uploaders wish to remain anonymous and didn’t verify their ages.

While I do think the move by the site was a good thing overall since there was a LOT of abuse happening/being recorded and uploaded by anonymous users, it is still a shame to see so much content just gone suddenly. Pornhub was really helping furry art leave more of a footprint (pawprint?) online.

Good, most of it was just accounts profiting with stolen content anyways.

A significant portion of it was smaller legit artists.

Why would anybody upload furry art on Pornhub? What I find more disappointing is that the vast majority of the fursuit/plushophilia stuff got nuked from Xtube and presumably Pornhub as well. Not that I viewed it much at all; 99% of my porn comes from e621.

Big problem I saw was that a main chunk of the fursuit porn online was nuked. A lot of people use twitter for that now, thankfully, and reddit can store a lot within it's fursuit porn subreddit, but... Still likely a couple of thousand videos were nuked.

Not all of it, while most of it was there are some genuine artists who lost their accounts. Landidzu, Redmoa and PheromoneQueen just to name a few

Xtube is owned by the same people as Pornhub, and it seems Xtube also removed unverified content. SOURCE: I'm sure I had a lot more than 2 videos favorited before... Also, the fact that all content shown has a "verified" check mark now.

That topbar you see on all of the Thumbzilla/Pornhub/XTube/whatever the fuck group? All the same company, all of those sites nuked content. Most of them are literally just skins/interfaces for the same databases anyway (Thumbzilla literally just scrubs Pornhub).

The company you're thinking of is called MindGeek. MindGeek runs Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn, and Xtube. XVideos is the most popular non-MindGeek porn site, and according to Wikipedia, XVideos/XNXX was already the world's most popular porn site even before the Pornhub Purge. So expect them to try to go after that one next.
