The tag alias #50632 teso -> the_elder_scrolls_online has been rejected.

Reason: teso (The Elder Scrolls Online) should be aliased to elder_scrolls_online just like the tag tesv is aliased to skyrim (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

I agree, but shouldn't it be the_elder_scrolls_online to match the_elder_scrolls?
IMHO, it would be better to drop "the" from both of those... but the_elder_scrolls already has a bunch of implications and alises.

Well, the term Elder Scrolls Online (without "THE") is more used among the game's community - that's why the tag elder_scrolls_online (69) has more posts than the_elder_scrolls_online (25).
With it being more popular, I thought it's better to just use the THE-less form, but if it's changed, I wouldn't argue.
I also posted a request to alias those two a while ago here.

Along with Morrowind and Skyrim, I see no reason these need to be distinct tags implicating the_elder_scrolls rather than aliases. Prequel and Oblivion also seem like they should be disambiguations, since the former is a very common term, and the latter is also the name of a movie, a few characters and artists, and is similar to other titles like Oblivion Zero and Oblivion Fall.
