Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: k/da -> league_of_legends

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

This alias makes no sense, there's no reason to alias two tags that have no seeming relation. If there is a relation, give a reason.

They can record songs unrelated to League of Legends or someone using their music can use it for something unrelated to League of Legends. Furthermore, it wouldn't be tagged unless a post audibly used their music or the post featured them as characters (and not as any characters they may voice act as).

While I wasn't a proponent of this alias (I don't understand the tagging of post #2366260 at all, and while the intent is there with post #1805081 I wouldn't consider it a close enough cosplay to hold up without the external contexts,) this post seems to be taking the character-musician separation the opposite way. The "members" of K/DA are the four League of Legends characters instead of the actual musicians behind them, much in the way that the Gorillaz are considered to be the characters involved rather than Damon Albarn and whomever he's working with at the time.

I can understand that. I don't like the Gorillaz or their "music" either, so couldn't compare it with them. Thus, it's no surprise that I didn't get it right.
