Topic: Mobile Flash Problem

Posted under General

So when viewing the website on my android, I'm using Firefox and when I view animated images where the initial thumbnail is the image itself, it works fine. When I view images where the initial thumbnail says "Flash", those say that I require a missing plugin to work. Does anyone know which plugin I may need to view those images?

Yarr, you need the "Flash"-Plugin.

As in, Adobe Flash Player for Android, since anything with the "Flash" thumbnail aren't images, but mostly full-fledged vector animations with sound and shit, or even games.

Word of warning, it doesn't work on all android devices and is no longer supported by Adobe, so if you encounter bugs you're shit out of luck.

If you're okay with this then head over to https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1061194 and follow the instructions.
Most stuff will work but be aware that performance is going to be bad on CPU heavy stuff, especially rendered animations will likely stutter.

Also, most games don't work since they require button input, which you can't give on a touchscreen only device.

It worked, thanks a ton. Now I can get rid of this pointless firefox app.

Actually, there are apps that allow you to play .swf files. While some .swf games are actually kind of hard to play on mobiles, it's still possible. You just need to download the .swf file onto your phone and run it on the app. The app you download should let you configure it's buttons to what you want it to do.
